So just 15,000 a year for the R1S/T?

I assume this is hyperbolize as we already know they will do well more than that in 2023.

The point is they will not be building 200k R1s a year. They will probably be following the Tesla model, for instance in 2021 Tesla did 450k Model 3 and Y but only did 55k Model S and X.

The market for the commodity level R2 will be significantly larger than the R1 series approaching and will probably surpass the $100k entry point in the near future.

Tesla had perfect timing. They bought the Fremont plant for 10 cents in the dollar from general motors. They raised tens of billions of dollars when the market was hot. Would be very difficult to replicate Tesla's growth in today's market. I would just like to see Rivian make 20 inch wheels available. Unfortunately having to switch to a Ford bronco due to inavailability of add-ons and spare parts. Rivian needs to focus on their existing customers.

F150EV would be comparable but what spare parts? All new vehicles are going to short supply as we saw with Tesla at this point.

They have two years of backlog. They don't need to think about pricing for at least that time period. We could be in an entirely different market by then, just as we are today versus 7 months ago.
