Rivian will provide a touchless delivery option to those that would prefer it, according to the automakers main site that reads "We’ll bring your new Rivian right to your home. Choose a touchless experience or a comprehensive guided tour" in the Experience Hub section.

Also, “For owners in the United States and Canada, our focus will be delivering the R1T or R1S directly to your home for added convenience and comfort---you can ask a Rivian Delivery Specialist for a walkthrough of your new vehicle or explore on your own time through a guided digital orientation. We’ll share more about additional delivery options in your area as we approach production and start accepting orders in early 2021.”

But how else will you learn about paint protection and undercoating?
And how much you NEED this aftermarket b.s. warranty otherwise the sky will fall.

When the F&I person gives me that pitch I play dumb and say "but the sales person told me this was a reliable vehicle. Is it not reliable? Maybe I should sleep on this?" 75% of the time they'll backpedal hard and even bring the sales person and sales manager in for damage control. It's a funny moment in an otherwise grueling day of car buying.
