Vent Window Option

I might be dreaming this, but I left R1T outside on a sunny 75 degree day. When I went out to truck a few hours later all 4 windows were lowered an inch or two.
Question- Is there a setting that allows this to happen? If so, can it be over-ridden?

You can do this via the smartphone app.

What?!? I don't think that is feature... If it is a feature, there should be an alert in the app before opening occurs, and then you should have to "agree to crack windows". I think it would be an awesome feature, but I either didn't know that existed, or it doesn't.

I use the app to close windows that were left open all the time though...

There is no feature that automatically vents your windows. You can Vent/Close the windows via the app or the key fob.

It is equipped with a vent option from your phone app to open and to close
YES, this is correct, from the app you should be able to manually VENT the windows as seen at the bottom of the CONTROLS menu:

Thanks for screen shot- I can’t check on this myself currently as my truck as it is in transport to Kauai- do you know if in the “vent windows” option there is another option to vent windows if interior temperature exceeds X degrees or does the truck automatically vent the windows if interior temp exceeds a certain temp? Do you agree with “tobyringle” thread reply above that there is no automatic “vent window open at certain interior temp “programmed in truck software? Appears vent windows is manual.
Yes, that was what I was saying... This is not automatic (unless I am missing something) and must be enabled / controlled manually.
Thank you for posting. Very interesting feature. I'll definitely check it out someday.... 749 Days waiting for my R1s...

There is also another way to operate the windows. i've done this a couple of times but can't seem to get IT done again.by holding down the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for a few seconds, all four windows will open all the way. and if you do the same thing they will all close.
any confirmation would be appreciated

Not quite. You don't hold both lock and unlock... You press unlock once then push again and HOLD.

I’m sure this works but it’s not. Maybe I have something set on the main screen I need to change???

And that button says "Vent Windows' when they are up! Use it every day.
What? Yes, I use it too... He was asking if it happened automatically and if it could be overwritten.
