Lol, that was the exact same though I had when mine arrived a few days ago... Really well engineered, super easy to install and remove, and I really don't have any use for them right now!

I moved them up to the above-cab position. Worse for aero, but look good and don't have to find a place to store them for now!

I was thinking about the roof too but wasn't sure if they would kind of distract/block the view from the inside

I like them on the roof, but I think that’ll prevent me from clearing my office parking garage :-/
