It's a bit tough to measure due to the contours of the lower door. As best as I can tell, the smallest gap between the bottom of either door in the rail is 1/2" and the largest is 3/4".

These look awesome! After getting in/out 100 times today (took delivery this morning!), even with kneel, I'm thinking I'd like some running boards. I probably don't need full rock sliders but there's not many options just yet. How much easier do these make it to get in and out? Would you say it's a significant difference or just a little easier?
