What is the best two-vehicle home charging solution for a Rivian and a Tesla?

My wife drives a 2021 Tesla Model 3 and I have a Rivian R1T on order. We're moving into a new home in a couple of months, and I want to set the garage up for effective level 2 charging on 60 amp circuits. As I understand it, my options are:
  • Install a third-party two-cable charger, with a Tesla adapter on the appropriate cable for the Model 3, that will share the electric load between the two vehicles.
  • Install two Tesla chargers, connected through WiFi for load sharing, with a J1772 adapter on the appropriate cable for the R1T.
  • Install our single Tesla charger and manually switch the cable between the vehicles as needed, with a J1772 adapter when charging the R1T.
Am I missing any other options? Who is using one of these methods? Pros and Cons? Any insight is appreciated.

We have this EVSE, and it has worked well for us charging 2 J1772 cars (R1T and ID.4). Like you we rarely have to charge at the same time, but it is nice to be able to plug them both in and have the EVSE manage the charging. You get full 40A when only one car is plugged in, each get 20A when both charging, and when one finishes it keeps 8A, and the vehicle that is still charging gets 32A. Have had it about a year. Very robust, and simple. I prefer to let the EV do all the "smart" features with scheduling, etc. (though we don't actually use that as we don't have time of use billing. This was the cheapest solution I could find to be able to charge both simultaneously (if needed) and not need an extra circuit.
I also have the Grizzl-E duo. Works like a charm. I never really find myself wanting for more power that would come with 2 dedicated plugs. But you’ll have to evaluate what your needs will likely be. If this set up would work for you, then it’ll save you $$ vs buying and installing 2 separate EVSEs.

Are you able to set charging times in your vehicles? The Grizzl-E Duo is a "dumb" charger that supplies juice, at the appropriate shared setup, as soon as it's plugged in, so setting up scheduled charging on the vehicles themselves will be pretty important with this option.
I don’t regularly set charge times as my electricity price doesn’t change throughout the day and I have no other need to. In the rare cases I wanted to set charging for a specific time (like when going on a trip and charging to 100% right before I leave) I use the rivian’s scheduling feature to do it.
