I've only had mine for 3 days now and about 500 miles, coming from a 2013 Nissan Leaf, I am absolutely blown away by the technology leap.
A few things that are standing out.
Here in Atlanta the Driver Plus has been great. The cruise control is amazing, slowing down and speeding up to keep distance and speed is something that I didn't know cruise control could do.
Turn signals, there's a small step for changing lanes that turns it off once you make the shift and a full step for turning. I didn't know about this is wondered about it for a day till I realized there were two steps to the control. The same two steps for the windows as well.
I've been trying to read the owners manual page by page, I'm about half way through. Learned that the center seat in the back has an adjustable head rest. That is pretty important for that person that ends up sitting in the back and that it's down for visibility if you don't actively have someone sitting back there.
Having range has been great, I can't believe I went without for so long and the range estimates are extremely accurate.
Conserve Mode is great for highway driving, tons of power and even better range.
I used to plug my Leaf into the 110v plug when I would get to work, it would usually give me about 5 miles per hour. I've only tried plugin in the Rivian once on the 110v plug and I think it was telling me it would give me about 2 or 3 miles per hour so probably don't plan on using that unless it's an extreme type situation.
I'll be upgrading my level two charging at the house. I have a Clipper Creek 32Amp charger now and it's only giving me about 17 miles per hour on the R1T. Question for the group would be should I upgrade to the 48Amp version or as they call it on the website "Future-proofing" upgrade to the 64Amp charger?
The ventilated seats are great. How did I ever live with them?
Very comfortable ride and a fun to drive. Launching around with friends and family 0 to 60, my sister hated it, my 6 year old niece loved it and is now saying that she wanted an R1T verses her daddies Model 3 : )
I just got called into work so I'll be driving from Atlanta up to Pendergrass Ga soon and instead of having to stop on the way to get a charge I'll be driving into work saving a lot of time. Good stuff.
