Has anyone put XPEL or any other kind of ppf on the R1T?
Crazy how many bugs these things eat! I’m wrapping the whole truck. Just out taking tar off today and spend a bunch of time off-road so getting it next week. Saw the Stealth wrap in the launch green and it’s BA.Sure nice to have over entire front end (including lights) and seems to make cleaning easier with a microfiber towel and just a little soap. The bug magnet is real:

Welcome to the forum! Would love to see pics of it being worked on if you (and the owner) don't mind.I am wrapping a blue one this week at my shop with the XPEL Stealth. We will put gloss (Ultimate Plus) on all the black trim. Ceramic Tint on ALL glass, sunroof and windshield. I can't wait to see what it looks like.
Thanks for the welcome! I am excited as a car lover, this truck is really neat! Considering ownership.Welcome to the forum! Would love to see pics of it being worked on if you (and the owner) don't mind.
Let us know how the wrapping goes, it'd be interesting to hear from someone who's a professional.I am wrapping a blue one this week at my shop with the XPEL Stealth. The prep to get the ppf on correctly is a bit of work. any bit of dirt or simply not cleaning edges with rubbing alc. will cause the material not to apply properly. My Shop in Mountain view installs ppf on teslas and Porsches all the time. It Definitely helps keep the car looking new longer, protects the paint and has a 10 year warranty. Its not going to prevent a big rock from causing damage but definitely helps keeps small debris from scratching and chipping paint.Bumping old thread. Was wondering if worth doing ppf to the rest of my truck. Did front and doors. Did twraps sides and tailgate, but peeling off (probably because of how poorly I applied it)
