Has Rivian given their expected estimated yearly production numbers for both models? Tesla just announced a rough number of 250,000 to 300,000, but they have a huge backlog from pre-orders already.

I found one article saying Rivian planned to produce 10,000 units per year? Seems very low for ongoing operations...

Have they disclosed the number or preorders?

It seems more likely to be somewhere between 10,000-20,000 Especially when Scaringe said 20,000-40,000 vehicles back in July 2019, pre-pandemic.

Also, Rivian has to build the delivery vans for Amazon, they're expecting 20,000 units by 2022.

I think that article on 10,000 units was actually claiming the number of pre-orders.

20k units seems realistic for sure.

I hope they’re able to produce more than 10K/year. Demand for electric pickup trucks seems to be on the rise. If they’re not able to keep up with production they might have a hard time becoming a “go-to” brand in this market.
