Need to be able to set multiple "Home" locations

I have my R1S set to not use proximity unlocking at home, so it doesn't act like a golden retriever every time I go in the garage.

Now that it's almost boating season, I spent a night on my boat, and my R1S was constantly locking/unlocking because the boat would drift in its slip just enough to go in/out of range.

Wish I could set the marina as another location where it doesn't do proximity lock/unlock.

The problem with this.....at least on Android phones......Is that if you have a widget setup on any of the home screens, as soon as you swipe back across that screen, the app relaunches. So, "killing the app" by hand, for me, would also mean removing the widget from a home page, and re-adding it later. Killing bluetooth also kills any audio streaming I have going, and the connection to my watch. This is a truck tech implementation problem that is quickly causing disruptions in multiple other work flows.

I've gotten used to PAAK, but still think it's far far far more sizzle than steak. It's a significantly higher degree of complication for something that can be solved with much easier tech. My Q7 was, IMO, the best solution I've used yet. Fob in pocket, you had to touch the vehicle to unlock it. The touch was built into the inside of the door handle, and would act fast enough and reliably enough that it would unlock as fast as you could normally pull the handle. Same with locking, just touch any of the outside sensors (one on each handle) and it would lock. Otherwise, there was no state change of the vehicle if I was nearby, or walking by, or in a marina, or had my phone on a shelf in the garage.

I understand the Bluetooth key is more secure than RF. I also understand that hidden handles are more aerodynamic. RF is fine if the car is only listening and the fob is only activated by motion (reference Audi implementation above). And we can't possibly think that flush door handles make enough of a difference in aerodynamics on something the shape of a pickup truck. The juice just simply isn't worth the squeeze here, and it's one of a few sources of agitation I have with the truck.

I agree with the OP’s desire for more than one home location. He beat me to the post. I split time between my home and vacation home, almost 50/50. My challenge is when I am in my garage and need to get into the truck. If I don’t have my phone with me, I have to go back in and find it to unlock. It happens quite often. Either that or let us turn off auto-lock/unlock at “work” also. I have second house set as work but disabling auto-lock at work isn’t an option. Small issue overall, but this is the forum for making those requests, so I’ll make mine. Please add option of more than one “home” location or ability to disable auto lock at customizable locations.

I can also drive my truck without my phone (iPhone 15 pro) once it's unlocked without my phone or another key in the vehicle. Rivian has my truck now to look at this and other minor problems.

But to the OP's point, more locations to ignore proximity locking for now would be great! My truck splits its time between my two homes and it's annoying at both. I'm sure plenty of people also see this at their place of work.

Agreed, and it will eventually become a feature.

On a separate note, can't we all drive our truck without the phone in the vehicle (once we have made a handhake)? I know that I can, because I just did it.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think that is a pretty big safety feature and an important consideration. What happens if you are driving and your phone falls out the window? The vehicle SHOULD keep driving. We also had a phone get inadvertently stuck and then smashed in the channel for the passenger seat. Long story, but a phone CAN be destroyed in the vehicle without explosive devices. Personally, I like this feature as it would allow you to drive back to retrieve a key or drive potentially to a service center. Curious if it is a bug or a feature though.
